Family Building Retreats
Concentrated Focus on Building Your Family
Some families want more than the simple consultation and engage us for a weekend retreat or multi-hour sessions. Weekend retreats can be locally in or near one of our office locations, or in the destination of your choice.
A weekend retreat is typically comprised of a 2-hour session on Friday evening when we get to know you better and learn more about your hopes and dreams. On Saturday, we spend 4-6 hours in intensive sessions really getting to the core of what your family building journey might look like. We answer your questions, present you with options, and give you the information to make an informed decision. Saturday is really about the process, and which process is the right path for your family. On Sunday, we follow that up with two 2-hour sessions (4 hours total) where we really narrow in and attempt to navigate the specifics of your family building journey. All in, that's 10-12 hours of our focused attention and access to our years of experience, knowledge, and library of resources.
Still, others simply engage us on retainer to talk over concerns or issues along the way as they build their family – whether through assisted reproduction, adoption or child welfare.
Through our family building consultations and retreats, we get to know you and find out as much as we can about the family that you want to build. We give you options, we answer your questions, and we strive to make you as informed as possible regarding the family path you are looking to take so that YOU can make the best decision for YOUR family. Our retreats are intensive and intended to get you moving on your family formation path as quickly as possible.
